The Magtymguly Turkmen State University hosts a Week called " Magtymguly and Turkmen Literature", organized by the Department of Turkmen Literature from February 19 to 24.

The event is actively attended by representatives of the university – professors, teachers, students of various faculties.

At the opening ceremony of the Week, there were many interesting speeches dedicated to the outstanding poet and philosopher

East of Magtymguly Fragi, celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of the brilliant classical poet. With a special sense of pride and inspiration, the students performed heartfelt songs based on the poet's poems, which gave the audience a lot of pleasure, exciting and wonderful emotions.

Especially memorable for the students were the open lessons on the topics "History of Turkmen literature", "Literature of neighboring peoples", "Spatial poetics of G. Ezizov's poetry", which carry scientific, educational and educational significance.

The scientific and practical conferences " Magtymguly, the word is short, but there are many interpretations" and "World experience in the study of literature" are devoted to the results of research and scientific achievements in modern literary studies.

The events of the Week's program include demonstration stage performances based on the works of Magtymguly Fragi and the legends about him, as well as a contest of humorous skits that will reflect bright, memorable and funny moments from student life.

The rich program includes creative meetings of young people with poets and writers, visits by students to the cultural centers of the capital, which will bring useful valuable knowledge and unforgettable impressions to the participants.

Within the framework of the Week in honor of the anniversary of the greatest classical poet Magtymguly, the university holds subject Olympiads, essay writing contests,

preparation of design works, creation of thematic logos, in which university students take part with special aspiration and activity.

The awarding of all winners and prize-winners of Olympiads and competitions, as well as distinguished and active participants of events, will take place at the university during the closing ceremony of the Week of Magtymguly and Turkmen Literature."
