The implementation of the «Academy for Women Entrepreneurs» program, which is implemented by the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan with the support of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan, has started in Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Mary and Turkmenabat.

The program provides entrepreneurial women with opportunities to expand their businesses. Participants will enjoy an online business course developed by the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. There will be weekly in-person sessions where participants will develop a business plan, which will then be discussed at a final event scheduled for June 2024 in Ashgabat.

Chairman of the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan Yuri Aronskiy, who attended the launch ceremony, noted that the program to support women's entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan is an important milestone for business, contributing to the development of all entrepreneurship and the national innovative economy. In turn, US Ambassador to Turkmenistan Matthew Klimow said that he is very pleased that Turkmen women are joining the community of this program.
