On March 11-13, the Turkmen delegation headed by Rashid Meredov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, is on a working visit to the Republic of Austria.

On the first day of the working visit in the Austrian city of Graz, a meeting took place between the rectors of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, and the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, Gurbanmyrat Mezilov, with representatives of the Graz University of Technology.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the establishment of bilateral cooperation in science and education, as well as cooperation in the field of innovative technologies.

In this regard, the discussion focused on prospective joint work, including the organization of seminars, conducting scientific research, publishing articles, textbooks and teaching aids, as well as exchange of educational programs.

As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan and the Graz University of Technology.

It was noted that the current working visit of the Turkmen delegation to the Republic of Austria will launch a new stage of Turkmen-Austrian cooperation in the field of science and education.

As part of the friendly meeting, representatives of Turkmen universities were thoroughly acquainted with the scientific and educational activities of the Austrian university and its campus.
