As part of Italian Design Week organized by the Embassy of Italy in Turkmenistan, renowned architect Andrea Caputo visited the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.

During his meetings with Turkmen students, the famous Italian architect, owner of studios in Shanghai and Milan, shared his professional experience and delivered lectures on the topic of "Creating Values - Equality, Innovation, Sustainability."

Andrea Caputo continues to enhance his knowledge with his rich experience in creating original projects, including the Civic Center in Suzhou (China), Drop City - a design and architecture center project in the tunnels of Magazzini Raccordati at Milan Central Station, and a yurt project at one of the largest design exhibitions - Salone dei Mobili.

By studying various types of dwellings in which our ancestors once lived, the architect delved into the study of the yurt, finding in its basic structure an entire philosophy and foundation of what we see in residential architecture today.

During the lectures, the international guest discussed with future specialists about the distinctive features of modern architecture, methods of building reconstruction or restoration of existing structures.

According to the architect, people should enjoy comfort and beauty not only in their homes but also in the city. To visually illustrate this, he presented his projects to the students on creating favorable conditions for urban planning and architecture.

Andrea Caputo also noted the rapid development of architecture in Turkmenistan. Expressing his special admiration for the beauty of Ashgabat, he added that he would like to visit our country again.
