Turkmenistan will establish the production of equipment for energy storage and accumulation (UPS). This issue was discussed at the government meeting of the country.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov reported at the meeting that an economic society called "Üznüksiz çeşme" specializing in the production of equipment for energy storage and accumulation (UPS), which is important for the needs of the national economy, will be created in the country.

According to the Vice-Premier, the new production, with the share participation of "Aşgabatenergo" of the State Power Corporation "Türkmenenergo" of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan and the individual enterprise "Üznüksiz hyzmat", will contribute to the industrialization of the country, reduce the amount of imported equipment for collecting and storing electrical energy, and create new jobs.

Having heard the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to continue the ongoing reforms in the country, including the production of import-substituting products.
