Today, the Exposition Centre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted an opening ceremony of a three-day large-scale exhibition, which displays achievements and possibilities of the private sector of national economy. A conference will be also held on the margins of the exhibition.

The given events timed to the 16^th anniversary of the foundation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, display achievements and the potential of the local private sector, its powerful contribution to realisation of national programs and reforms of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which are aimed at innovative development of our independent fatherland and creation of potentially competitive manufactures, including export-focused businesses.

The following figures also attest to the dynamics of development of Turkmen business with active encouraging support from the state. Only for the past 2023 year, the rate of increase of volumes of agricultural food products manufactured by enterprises of UIET reached 111, 7 per cent, industrial goods - 106, 7 per cent.

… In spacious halls of the Exhibition Centre, a lively festive atmosphere reigns. Workers of art and culture welcome participants and visitors of the exhibition with their music and song compositions.

Members of the Government, heads and representatives of the Khalk Maslakhaty, Mejlis, the ministries and departments, public organisations, mass-media, foreign companies as well as diplomatic representative offices of different countries accredited to Turkmenistan and international organisations took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

In the welcoming message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to participants of the forum it is underlined that the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan carries out a great deal of work in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State to achieve high goals of today and realise programs of development of the state. A considerable growth for past 16 years made by a number of members of the Union, successes of private initiatives, expansion of fields of activity of entrepreneurs is powerful achievements of the state policy in this area.

This year, the expositions at the large-scale review organised by UIET with assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country, more than 230 private companies, individual enterprises and manufacturers displayed. Among them are also exhibitors-debutants.

Many exhibits corresponding to such labelling as «a new product», «import replacing production» or «innovative technology» which are presented practically in all sectoral branches, visually testify to successes on this way.

At stands, one can see the information of "Rysgal" joint-stock commercial bank, the school of business, which realises educational projects in various areas of vocational training, the Trading house «Bäsdeş», «Birleşme gurluşyk» association and the first private edition of the country - the newspaper «Rysgal».

The Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, which takes an active part in democratic processes occurring in the country for the happy future of our fatherland, also provides its information section there.

A separate part of the exposition reflects work of branches of UIET in velayats. Small and medium business develops today in all regions of our fatherland, large enterprises and economic societies, which represent key sectors of economy realise large scale state projects both in the capital and in velayats and provide employment of population.

So, individual enterprises «Nur bina gurluşyk», «Ajaýyp gurluşyk», «Baýly gurluşyk», «Gujurly binagär», «Gündogdy», «Ojar Aziýa», «Dost gurluşyk, söwda, önümçilik», «Saýaly menzil», «Erkin gurluşyk», «Döwlet gurluşyk», «Altyn», «Altyn nesil», «Türkmen bina gurluşyk», «Nahal» ES and others, which successfully compete with foreign companies, display their experience and prospects in the building industry at the exhibition.

In the given context, it is necessary to note that architectural breadboard models of megaproject "Ashgabad-city" as well as the new modern city of Arkadag, which are a visible symbol of the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, became central exhibits.

Local individual enterprises adjust manufacture of tens of kinds of building materials answering to international quality standards. Stands of economic society «Derýaplastik», individual enterprises «Begler ýoly», «Ak hünji», which manufacture high-quality import replacing goods, enjoy a high demand not only in our country but also abroad.

Annually the assortment of industrial output manudfactured by businessmen extends. Achievements in the given segment are displayed by enterprises for manufacture ceramic tile, basalt fibre, pipes, brick, ferro-concrete designs, waterproofing materials, washed sand, claydite, emulsions and paints, power cables and hoses, kerb stone and tile, dry building mixes, and also oil and air filters, accumulators and others. Among exhibitors of this direction - «Hindiwar» ES, enterprises «Täjir ýoly», «Berk önüm», «Täze süzgüçler» and others.

Besides it, the exhibition displays successes of private companies in the field of transportation and logistical services. The given area assumes a special significance in the light of realisation of large-scale international projects by Turkmenistan in this sphere.

The number of the exhibitors occupied in chemical manufacture, developed on the basis of natural resources of Turkmenistan, extended. The stands advertising production of household chemical goods also evoke due interest. The novelties in the domestic market synthetic washing and disinfectants, presented by enterprises «Guba gara», «Täç hil», «Nurly energiýa çeşmesi» and many individual businessmen cosmetic and perfumery production.

In the exposition - goods of manufacturers of various kinds of local home appliances - gas and electric stoves, ovens, microwaves, which are non-second to any foreign analogues and enjoy a great demand of consumers.

Here one can also see the possibilities of private sector in development of production of consumer goods. Among them - enterprise "Röwşen", «Muhammet-Balkan» ES and others which have adjusted manufacture of modern clothes, fashionable footwear and other goods.

Pavilions of manufacturers of sewing production from local natural fabrics and ketene, female national silk scarfs of different cuts, colour palette and different sizes are also displayed there.

In addition to an innovative component of development, domestic business invariably preserves unique traditions of national workmanship and national arts and crafts through support by the Union entrepreneurial and creative initiative in this environment.

Ornamental handmade carpets from silk and wool with amazing colouring, pictures, landscape cloths, modern carpet products and accessories, embroideries, fabrics, jewellery, pottery, souvenirs made by businessmen and national masters, young designers also evoke a great interest in visitors.

Today, new carpet factories are created, volumes of realisation of production made by them increase in home and foreign markets. In this connection, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlines necessity of conduction of corresponding work on organisation of electronic auctions of carpets, carpet and gift products by means of digital system.

One of the brightest pavilions of Turkmen furniture makers where among leaders - factories "Aýbölek" and «Çigildem», enterprises «Abraýly mebel» and «Nurana türkmen», which represent a wide spectrum of import replacing and export-focused production in decorated "home" and office interiors.

Traditionally participants of the exhibition are members of UIET specialising in the area of agro-industrial complex, food and process industry. The enterprises of the given sector bring a powerful contribution to the strengthening of food independence of the country.

At the exhibition one can see soft drinks, pure drinking water of enterprises «Akdaş miwe içgileri», «Arçalyk», «Berk Akar», juice of trade marks «Saba» from «Miweli oba» ES, «7 gün» of «Ak ýaprak» ES, «Joş» and «Eçil» from individual enterprise "Parahat" as well as natural vegetable and fruit juice and nectars under the trading brand «MFT».

«Ajaýyp ussat halal önümleri» ES, cattle-breeding complex «Sahabatly», «Maksada okgunly» individual enterprise also display results of their selection work in the field of animal industries. Their live exhibits – calves of breeds «Simmental», «Goldstein» and «Angus» - serve results of new meat and dairy breeds of cows adapted to environmental conditions of Turkmenistan. Many visitors gather at open-air cages with beautiful pheasants and quails, African ostriches, grown on the private ostrich farm.

Pavilions with a wide assortment of products from the fish, with development of which representatives of small and medium businesses are engaged in different regions of the country, also evoke a great interest. Stands of joint-stock company of open type «Hazar balyk» deserve, trade mark «Kenar» and other economic societies deserve special attention. International certificates ISO and HACCP received by them testify to high quality and ecological safety of food products manufactured by domestic enterprises. «Hil standart» economic society, the first laboratory centre in Turkmenistan created at the initiative of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs stands on the guard of its safety. The International Standards Organization ISO/IEC17025:2017 approved competence of the given structure in the field of examination of food production.

Turkmen businesspersons realise measures with a view of obtaining a harvest of crops at the expense of development of new irrigated fields, organisation of additional sowing of agricultural crops, planting of fruit-trees and grapes, expansion of areas of hothouse economies. It gives an opportunity to provide home market and to increase export.

Gardening as one of areas of agrarian business that has found its reflexion in fragrant pavilions of «Ak diwar» individual enterprise and others becomes more and more attractive to domestic businesspersons. Members of UIET in its development actively use high-tech irrigation technologies, high-quality materials and advanced equipment.

Businessmen make a worthy contribution and carry out large-scale tree planting actions, realisation of the national forest program, other government programs connected with solution of problems of ecological safety. They took part in the national action, which took place on March 16 in the planting of trees dated to the national holiday of spring.

The busy and festive atmosphere prevails at the stands, which display the world of sports and tourism, sports industry and healthy way of life, which are a priority direction of the policy pursued by head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The exhibition also acquaints visitors with successes of businessmen in the sphere of trade and services. Today, they open specialised shops, organise trade by franchise principle. Large capital shopping centres «Kämil market», «Halk market», «Şerbet market», built by of members of UIET can serve them a good example.

The presentation of possibilities of members of the Union in realisation of the Concept of digital economy for 2019-2025 became one of the highlights of the exposition.

An increase in sales volumes through the internet, creation of private platforms for electronic trade in the country, intensification of advertising of domestic goods at the international level - such goals were put by head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov before the local business community.

Businesspersons actively participate in realisation of the program initiated by the head of Turkmenistan on creation and development of electronic industry. At that, an emphasis is made on highly effective non-polluting manufactures, introduction of digital system and technological innovations in all sectors.

Certainly, the attention of visitors of the exhibition will be captured by the pavilion of «Aýdyň gijeler» economic society- manufacturer of various kinds of modern industrial and electronic products, the assortment of which constantly extends. These are cellular telephones with two SIM cards, smart phones, mono blocks, smart TVs, split-conditioners, internet network distributors - routers, as well as coolers for cooling and potable water heating.

As the President of Turkmenistan marks, manufacture of analogues of imported production gives an opportunity to not only lower total amount of import, but also provide the population with the goods in mass demand at reasonable prices.

Visitors of the exhibition can familiarise with the work of «Türkmen ýyldyzy» enterprise, which shows the possibilities for installation, minor and major repairs of substations, electric motors, generators and transformers, test of all kinds of electric equipment.

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the private sector confidently acts as state partner in realisation of economic reforms and provides high quality goods and services, investing funds in manufacture of foodstuff, printing products, building materials, arts and crafts products and others. And the exhibition activity became an integral part of the marketing policy of Turkmen businessmen.

On the sidelines of the exhibition one could see achievements of branches of national economy, a wide assortment of competitive and highly demanded products, commodity novelties and proposals in the field of services.

The gathered expressed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov their sincere gratitude for possibility of organisation of the present forum and assured that they will do their best for further dynamical, sustainable development of the economic complex for prosperity of our fatherland and happiness of our people.

A fashion show of fashion houses «Mähirli zenan», «Nur ýupek», which presented exclusive models of spring and summer collections became a remarkable gift for visitors of the exhibition. Designing and woman’s wear in the national style – a basic area of their activity.

… Tomorrow, on the margins of the exhibition, the conference hall of UIET will host the conference devoted to discussion of significant issues of entrepreneurial activity. Exploration of possibilities of introduction of the latest technologies and advanced know-how in the private manufactures, increase of competitiveness of goods and services of individual manufacturers, attraction of attention of consumers to local products as well as complex analysis of evolution of domestic business will become basic themes of the agenda of the forum.

It is also planned to discuss the work carried out for the past year and reached successes and to develop in detail on issues of realisation of priority goals facing the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on development and modernisation of manufactures, import replacement by domestic goods as well as assistance to growth of employment of population.

The present exhibition reflects those positive processes that occur in development of the private sector of national economy and its impressing achievements made for years of independence of the country. It will last till March 19 inclusive. Upon completion of the exhibition, its participants will be awarded corresponding diplomas.
