Today marks two years since President Serdar Berdimuhamedov acceded to the highest government post. The fateful inauguration day for the Turkmen people became a special milestone in the history of the independent neutral Homeland, marking the irreversibility of the democratic transformations unfolded in our country, which has centuries-old traditions of genuine democracy.
As is known, millions of our compatriots, using their constitutional right and fulfilling their civic duty, on the principles of transparency and openness, a broad alternative basis, in accordance with the current national legislation and generally recognized norms of international law, voted for the head of the Turkmen state, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
And today, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the assumption of office by the President of Turkmenistan, a concert of art masters was held at the Aşgabat Song and Music Center.
Numerous spectators gathered in the hall. Among them are members of the Government and the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, leaders and representatives of the Mejlis, ministries and departments, public organizations, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, respected elders, representatives of the scientific and creative intelligentsia, universities, the media, and students.
The country’s masters of art prepared their creative gifts for this significant event, presenting a large concert program to the guests.
The magnificent overture of the concert was the literary and musical composition “Аrkadagly Serdar, biz Siziň bilen!” This bright mini-performance is a reflection of the high feelings of pride and happiness experienced by the people of Turkmenistan for an independent neutral Homeland, which is entering a new epoch of its development.
The creative evening continued with performances by popular artists of folk and pop songs, musical ensembles and folk groups, which were accompanied by video footage demonstrating the great achievements of the modern sovereign Turkmen state.
High spiritual uplift and emotional mood reign under the arches of the magnificent hall. “Täze eýýam – halkyň bagty”, “Döwletli döwran”, “Watanym” compositions presented by the artists embodied the love for the Fatherland, the inspiration and high patriotic spirit of the Turkmen people, their commitment to the principles of peace and creation.
To thunderous applause, the audience greeted the virtuoso performance of the Arçabil group drummers, who played the festive musical composition “Toý bu gün”, dedicated to their beloved Motherland, peace, progress and prosperity, in a fiery pop rhythm.
This day, inspired songs were glorifying the policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov: “Arkadagly Gahryman Serdara şöhrat!” performed by soloists and choir of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after May Kulieva; “Arkadagly Gahryman Serdarymyz”, “Alkyş Size, Arkadag!”, “Ak şäheriň gutly bolsun, Arkadag!” – People’s and Honored Artists of Turkmenistan.
The song “Arkadag” reflected the ascetic activity of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, who initiated great transformations that successfully continue under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar in the era Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state.
The warmth of hearts, sincerity and talent of the artists warmly resonate with the audience. Both masters of musical art and novice but already popular pop singers shone with their talents on stage.
The performances of the State Dance Ensemble of Turkmenistan, the Serpaý folklore group and the Näzli, Galkynyş, Aşgabat, Meňli choreographic groups were full of the spirit of national traditions combined with modern trends and clearly reflected the connection between the past and the present.
Inspirational song “Arkadagym, Arkadagly Serdarym!” sounded like the anthem of the country, every day of which is filled with great victories, labor achievements and national celebrations.
The Kushtdepdi dance was a real gift for the audience – a colorful example of folk art, reflecting the symbiosis of historical and cultural traditions and the spiritual experience of the nation. The audience greeted its performers, the Laçyn folk group, with unanimous applause. The enchanting choreography of the dance embodies all the colorful colors of the Turkmen spring, warming the ever-young land of our beloved Homeland.
The audience greeted the patriotic song “Arkadagly Gahryman Serdar bilen!” with a standing ovation, which became a powerful final chord of the concert, glorifying our independent Fatherland, in which, thanks to the progressive policy pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, grandiose transformations are being carried out for the benefit of the people and the further prosperity of Turkmenistan.
