More than 155 thousand first-graders in Turkmenistan will receive laptops as a gift in the 2024-2025 academic year. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Amannepesov announced this at a meeting of the government of the country via video link.
According to him, this year, held under the motto «The Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi», it is planned to provide 155 thousand 641 first-graders with laptops.
Currently, samples of «Bilimli» computers have been prepared, the technical characteristics of which have been analyzed by the relevant ministries, and certificates of their quality for consideration by the head of state.
After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the country is successfully implementing educational policy, creating favourable conditions for the young generation to receive modern upbringing and education, versed in innovative technologies, for the formation of specialists with a broad worldview.
In order to successfully continue reforms in this direction, as well as to present laptop computers as a gift to students who will be admitted to the first grades of secondary schools in the country in the 2024-2025 academic year, the head of state signed the Resolution «On the purchase of laptop computers by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan» and sent it via the digital system to the Deputy Prime Minister, instructing him to monitor the execution of this document.
