After a short break caused by the participation of the Turkmenistan national team in qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the national championship among major league clubs resumed.

The fourth round of the national championship opened with matches held in Bayramaly and the city of Turkmenbashy.

The first game to end was in Bayramaly, where Mary's «Merv» hosted the capital's «Kopetdag». «Ashgabat» also suffered its first defeat in the 4th round, losing away to «Shagadam» - 0:1.

The main events in this match unfolded during injury time to the main game time. The winning goal for the hosts was scored from a penalty kick by Emir Berdiyev in the 92nd minute.

By this time, the guests were already playing in the minority after Begmyrat Pirkuliyev was sent off in the 80th minute for two yellow cards. However, in the 94th minute, the Primorye team remained in the minority due to the direct double removal of Myrat Dadayev and Hydyr Yakubov.
