Although sowing started later here due to soil and climatic conditions than in other regions of the country, farmers intend to complete it within the planned timeframe, thanks to a well-organized and responsible campaign.

They have all the necessary conditions, including a powerful fleet of modern specialized machinery produced by well-known global leaders in agricultural engineering.

Due to the targeted renewal of the state-owned fleet of specialized agricultural machinery, only last year velayat received a large batch of "John Deere" tractors with the necessary equipment.

Velayat also has an ample supply of modern precision seed drills, such as "Monosem," which ensures uniform seed distribution and, consequently, high-quality work.

Cotton farms have also been timely provided with high-quality planting materials.

Over 18,000 tons were prepared for sowing.

The future crop will be based on high-yielding and time-tested varieties of medium-fiber cotton, such as "Daşoguz-120", "Daşoguz-114", "Gubadag-3", "Jeýhun", "S4727" and "F149". This year, 140,000 hectares have been allocated for cotton cultivation.

Alongside collective farms, private entities that are increasingly showing interest in agricultural production also intend to contribute to the production of valuable raw materials.
