Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute announced the winners of the III Open International Internet Olympiad on the discipline "Resistance of materials", held by the university among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and abroad.
According to the results of the Olympiad, 121 participants received prizes. Of these, 19 students won first places, 39 – second and 63 – third.
The excellent result of participation was shown by Turkmen students, who took 11 first places. It should be noted that Aylar Hommadova, a student of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, scored the highest number of points and took the first place in the ranking of the winners of the Olympiad. Another student of this university, Guvanch Gurbanov, joined it.
The first places were awarded to students of the S.A.Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University Mukhammetmyrat Kakageldiyev, Akhmet Tukatov and Polat Mammadov, Turkmen Agricultural Institute Bazarbai Rozykulyev and Akgozel Saparalieva, Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering Abdyresul Kakabayev and Arkachmukhammet Karimov, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan Magtymguly Shiriyev and Arslan Atageldiyev.
A significant number of 28 second and 27 third prizes are also in the assets of our students, who adequately represented the above-mentioned and other universities of Turkmenistan. Among them is the International University of Oil and Gas named after Ya.Kakaeva, University of Engineering and Technology named afterOguzkhan, Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding, Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, Border Institute, Turkmen State Institute of Finance, Military- The Maritime Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, the International University of Humanities and Development, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.
Foreign participants, representatives of the largest and most prestigious universities in the world, successfully performed at the Olympiad. The eight winners included students of Makerere University from Uganda (East Africa), Xi'an University of Architecture and Construction and Chang'an University (China), Tashkent State Technical University (Uzbekistan), Siberian State University of Railway Engineering and National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (Russia).
47 second and third prizes were won by representatives of these and many other universities of these countries, as well as Tajikistan, Ukraine, Belarus, and Turkey.
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas of I, II and III degrees. Special diplomas were awarded to distinguished students who solved the tasks of the Olympiad in a non-standard way.
As the organizers noted, the Olympiad contributed to the development of independent work skills and scientific thinking among young people, interest in the study of sciences and provided an opportunity for participants to widely demonstrate their intellectual abilities. The student competition made it possible to assess the level of students' knowledge on the subject, identify the most talented and capable participants, as well as expand and strengthen cooperation between universities and research centers of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.
