On the 8th of April, 2024, in the building of the Turkic Academy in Kazakhstan, a presentation of a new book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov «Anev - culture from the depths of millennia», dedicated to the proclamation of the city of Anev as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024, took place.
The event, organized on the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Turkic Academy, was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in the city of Astana, representatives of the scientific and creative intelligentsia and the media.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan in his speech spoke in detail about the new work of the President of Turkmenistan, in particular, about the history of the city of Anev as an ancient center of agricultural culture, its unique historical monuments, archaeological research conducted by famous scientists, about the modern development of the Ahal velayat and its administrative center, about the National Museum Ak bugdaý.
The vice-president of the Turkic Academy, professor of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev, chief expert of the Institute of Strategic Studies of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and chief researcher of the Institute of Applied Research of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who spoke at the event, highly appreciated the scientific and educational value publication «Anev - culture from the depths of millennia» and expressed gratitude to the author for the new book, donated to the entire Turkic world.
The speakers also noted the enormous role of the policy pursued by the President of Turkmenistan in the field of preserving and popularizing the invaluable cultural heritage of the classical poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi. At the exhibition held in the hall of the Turkic Academy, the meeting participants got acquainted with manuscripts, paintings with the image of the poet and collections of poems by Magtymguly Fragi.
At the end of the event, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan handed over a new book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov «Anev - culture from the depths of millennia» to the library fund of the Turkic Academy.
