The Financial Institute of Turkmenistan announced the results of the Olympiads in Digital Economy and Economic Theory

The Turkmen State Institute of Finance announced the results of the Internet Olympiads in Digital Economy and Economic Theory, organized by the university among students of specialized secondary educational institutions in the country.

The Olympiads were held in the form of individual and team competitions. In the individual standings of the Digital Economy Olympiad, the first places were won by Aylara Gulhanova, a student of the Ashgabat Financial and Economic Secondary Vocational School, Abdylla Shamyev and Aymyrat Tyachjanov, students of the Specialized Banking School named after Hero of Turkmenistan Atamyrat Niyazov. 

Fourteen students from these vocational schools, as well as the Trade and Cooperative School of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, received second and third places in the individual standings of the Olympiad.

Among the teams, the winners were students from the Banking School. The second and third places were awarded to teams from the Financial and Economic School and the Trade and Cooperative School, respectively.

In the individual round of the Economic Theory Olympiad, the leaders were Yazgul Amanova from the Trade and Cooperative School, Gulchemen Khanova and Sheker Garaeva from the Banking School. 

Sixteen students from these three vocational schools became prize-winners of the Olympiad.

The team standings are as follows: 1st place - Banking School, 2nd place - Trade and Cooperative School, and 3rd place – Financial and Economic School.

The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiads were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees by the Turkmen State Institute of Finance.

The intellectual competitions were held with the aim of identifying and encouraging the most talented and capable students, stimulating their educational and cognitive activities, fostering their interest in studying sciences, and expanding cooperation between secondary vocational and higher educational institutions of the country.
