The Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan named after Oguz han announced the results of the second round of the II integrated Olympiad «Talented Descendants of Oguz han», organized by the university among students in grades 9-11 of secondary schools in the country.

    Following the results of the velayat round, held on the 8th of April, 100 talented schoolchildren received the right to participate in the final state round of the Olympiad.

The II Integrated Olympiad started in the country in March of this year. In the first round of competitions in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, 23 thousand schoolchildren from all over the country competed. 800 of them continued the intellectual struggle in the second round.

The third round – the final of the Olympiad – is scheduled to be held at the university in June-July, during the upcoming summer holidays. A rich program is being prepared for its participants with educational excursions, sporting events, educational and orientation sessions, which will be conducted by professors and teachers of the university.

The winners and medalists of the Olympiad will be awarded diplomas and valuable gifts. In addition, all participants who have passed the I, II or III stage of the Olympiad will be included in the Golden Fund of the University «Talented Descendants of Oguz han», whose members enjoy benefits when entering the university.

The integrated Olympiad of the same name is one of the university’s career-oriented projects, which is actively working to attract the country’s talented youth.

For the first time, the Olympiad was successfully held in Turkmenistan last year. More than one hundred of its finalists today are among the students of the University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan named after Oguz han, as well as other leading universities in our country and abroad.
