In S. Turkmenbashi etrap of Dashoguz velayat, preparations are being made for the reception of the new wheat harvest. Repairs are being made to various buildings and inspections are being conducted on sheds, platforms, transport vehicles, laboratory equipment and weighing facilities to ensure they meet established standards. 

The etrap is one of the major wheat producers in the region, with 28,500 hectares of land dedicated to cereal cultivation. For convenient transportation and proper storage of grain, there are four well-equipped grain reception points and a modern elevator located on the territory of the M. Hojamamedov Daikhan Association, which includes drying platforms and sheds for temporary wheat storage, warehouses, administrative buildings, laboratories and other facilities. 

After laboratory analysis, cleaning and drying, the wheat is stored in vertical silos equipped with specialized equipment to maintain the required temperature regime and constant ventilation of the grain. 

Similar preparations are being carried out in other etraps of the velayat, where, due to consistent measures to create appropriate standards, three high-performance milling plants, seven elevators with a capacity to store and clean up to 50,000 tons of grain, and other facilities are functioning successfully. 

The total capacity of these facilities will make it possible to timely receive, preserve without losses and process the entire harvest grown in the region.
