The State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan delighted the admirers of fine art with an exhibition of paintings dedicated to the unique corners of Turkmen nature. This time, the author of the exhibition "Perfection of Colors of the World" was the famous painter Kamil Veliakhmedov, Honored Art Worker of Turkmenistan.
The creative vocation of the artist is the admiration for the poetry of the eternally renewing Turkmen nature. Admirers of Kamil Veliakhmedov's work know him as a master of the landscape genre. The paintings, sketches and sometimes chamber variations on the theme of his native Turkmen nature created by him over fifty creative years testify to the artist's professional approach to plein-air painting.
As noted by Aijahan Kadyrova, head of the Department of Art History, the changeable world of nature, the harmony and richness of color, as well as the uniqueness of the sensations of the surrounding world, inspire Kamil Veliakhmedov to create new works, as once the French impressionists discovered the world of perfect colors of plein-air painting.
The exhibition presents more than 130 works by the artist. Among them are landscapes permeated with air and light, still lifes and sketches from nature, as well as portrait sketches of the artist's friends and acquaintances. The portrait genre includes the portrait of Kamil Veliakhmedov's mentor, the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Annadurdy Almammedov, as well as the portrait of the famous artist and animator Mozhek Charyev and others.
Small in size but very sincere works traces the artist's attachment to the impressionist manner of painting. For Kamil Veliakhmedov, conveying the maximum similarity with the portrayed person is not the most important thing. His task is to capture the moment, the psychological state of the character in which he finds himself at that moment. An example is the portrait "O. Ovezov", in which the artist very accurately conveyed the state of his recovering friend.
Kamil Veliakhmedov's exhibition "Perfection of Colors of the World" introduces visitors to compositions of blooming trees in the foothills of the Kopetdag - "Bagir", "Spring Day", "Enchanting Garden", as well as compositions of colorful shimmers and soft color combinations in the paintings "Abstraction", "One Thousand and One Nights" and others. The artist presented many landscapes under the same title "Spring". Among them stands out the Sumbar River gorge with its magnificent mountain landscapes - "Khyur-khyuri Waterfall", "Nohur", "Gorge".
Amazingly truthful sunsets and sunrises are depicted on the canvases "Autumn", "Gurtly", "Amyderya", "Koyten", "Lake Gurtly", "Khazar", "Morning Impression", and they reveal the full-sounding of the colors of nature. Kamil Veliakhmedov's works are an example of the artist's boundless love for the richness of the surrounding world.
