From May 7 to May 9, 2024, the delegation of Turkmenistan led by the Chairman of the State Bank of Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Jepbarov took part in the 13th International Investment Forum and Exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

This large-scale investment forum annually brings together government representatives, business leaders, investors, and policymakers, experts, along with the significant industry players interested in solving global problems, promoting investment and accelerating global economic recovery.

On the sidelines of the event, representatives of the Turkmen delegation held a number of bilateral meetings with foreign partners, including the delegations from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the UAE. The agenda of the meetings included such current areas as the development of economic relations between countries, the efficient use of the natural resources, development of energy markets, attracting investments in mutually beneficial large-scale projects, new mechanisms for contacts in the field of increasing productivity at the largest fields, the introduction of environmentally friendly production, innovative technologies and expertise.
