The Centre for Access to Information of Turkmenistan won the title of the best among similar centres in 2024

The National Information Society Agency (NIA) of the Republic of Korea recognized the Information Access Centre (IAC), operating on the basis of the Innovation and Information Centre of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, as the best in 2024 based on the results of activities in the previous year among similar centers operating in 56 countries of the world.

As you know, this Centre, equipped with modern equipment to create an innovative digital environment in the field of education, was created in collaboration with the NIA of the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technologies of the Republic of Korea. The awarding of the «Best IAC Centre Award 2024» to the Centre for Access to Information of Turkmenistan is a high assessment of its multifaceted work to promote digitalization and promote inclusive education in Turkmenistan, study the Korean language and familiarize Turkmen people with the culture of the Republic of Korea.

A letter sent by NIA to the Information Access Centre in Ashgabat congratulates them on this outstanding achievement and invites them to participate in the 2024 Information Access Centre (IAC) Administrator Training Program. This program aims to offer everything needed to operate the centre, improve understanding of Korea, strengthen capabilities in data and artificial intelligence, and facilitate visits to Korea's leading ICT infrastructures.

The training, which will take place from the 27th of May to 7th of June this year at the office of the National Information Society Agency of the Republic of Korea in Seoul, will be attended by representatives of nine countries, including employees of the Centre for Access to Information of Turkmenistan Amanbibi Hudaygulyyeva and Suray Amandurdyyeva.
