Within the framework of the Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation concluded between the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Japanese company «Tokyo Boeki Eurasia», a delegation of Turkmen scientists, which included the acting chief scientific secretary of the Academy of Sciences Charyyar Amansahedov, director of the Institute of Chemistry Hallymyrat Atayev and deputy director of the Technology Centre Jeren Ashyrmuhammedova, visited the Japanese capital Tokyo.
The trip was organized to study the possibilities of using the products of high-tech Japanese companies in the laboratories of scientific research institutions and higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, in the central laboratories of factories and enterprises of the chemical and oil and gas industries, as well as the development of scientific and technical ties and the implementation of joint research projects.
Turkmen scientists got acquainted with the products of JEOL Ltd. – the largest Japanese developer and manufacturer of electron microscopes and other scientific instruments, industrial equipment and medical equipment. During a visit to the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology of Japan, guests from Turkmenistan were presented with a production line for Minimal FAB chips used for research and development, semiconductor production and micro- and nanoelectronics.
The equipment produced at the Fuji Electronic Industrial Co Ltd company also aroused great interest among Turkmen scientists. At the headquarters of Tokyo Boeki, members of the Turkmen delegation were familiarized with the activities of MicroSupport and TB Global Technologies Ltd., whose products can be used in various fields in Turkmenistan.
The commitment of parties to further development of scientific and technical ties was confirmed at a meeting of the Turkmen delegation with Hideshige Tsubouchi, President and Representative Director of Tokyo Boeki Holdings Corp. Thanking for the opportunity to come to Japan and get acquainted with new equipment and technologies, the acting chief scientific secretary of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Ch. Amansahedov noted that Turkmenistan highly appreciates the cooperation with the Tokyo Boeki Eurasia company, which has been carried out since 2012. As part of this cooperation, the laboratories of the research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan were equipped with world-famous laboratory equipment from Japanese companies, which made it possible to bring the research and analytical work carried out in the country to a high level.
The Japanese side expressed gratitude to Turkmen scientists for accepting the invitation to visit Tokyo and get acquainted with the products of leading manufacturing companies of high-tech research and analytical equipment. Noting the stable economic development of Turkmenistan, Mr. Hideshige Tsubouchi emphasized that the country is making progress in the scientific and technical sphere, assuring that Tokyo Boeki Eurasia will continue to be a reliable partner of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
