The second round of the Turkmenistan Futsal Super League 2024 kicked off with matches of the 6th round in Balkan velayat.
As a reminder, six futsal clubs are fighting for the title of champion of the country. Three of them - "Kopetdag", "Senagatbank" and "Migration" represent Ashgabat, two - "Denizchi" and TCOR are from Turkmenbashi in Balkan velayat, and "Turan" is from Dashoguz velayat.
The first teams to take the court at the sports complex in the National Tourism Zone "Avaza" were the futsal players of "Turan" and "Denizchi". The match was held with a noticeable advantage of the team of the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi, which won with a score of 4:0. In the first half, Maksat Soltanov opened the scoring (18th minute), and in the second half, Abdulla Nursahadov (22nd), Gylychmyrat Gylychmyradov (34th) and Jovkhermuhamet Gylyjov (36th) scored.
The other two matches were hard-fought battles. The first of them, between TCOR and "Kopetdag", turned out to be quite productive and dramatic for the home team.
In the 12th minute, TCOR took a 1-0 lead after an unexpected deflection into their own net by Vatan Ataev. Two minutes before the end of the first half, Mulkaman Annagulyev equalized, and the teams went into halftime with a 1-1 tie.
In the second half, thanks to the efforts of Kerven Annaorаzov (27th minute) and Gurbangylych Sakhedov (32nd), "Kopetdag" took the lead - 3:1. It seemed that this score would remain on the scoreboard. However, a minute before the end of the game, TCOR equalized at 3-3 after accurate strikes by Charyar Gurbannyazov (38th) and Nurgylych Gylychjanov (39th). But the game did not end there. In the last minute, Gurbangylych Sakhedov scored a brace, snatching a 4-3 victory for "Kopetdag".
"Senagatbank" also had a hard-fought victory in this round, defeating "Migration" 2-1. In the first half, the opponents exchanged goals: Resul Heshdekov scored in the 10th minute for "Senagatbank", and "Migration" responded with an accurate strike by Serdar Charyev (20th). Shamukhammet Babayev scored the winning goal for Mergen Ataev's team in the 27th minute.
After six rounds, "Senagatbank" maintains the lead in the Turkmenistan Super League with a perfect 18 points. The defending four-time champion "Denizchi" is three points behind. The vice-champion of Turkmenistan "Kopetdag" closes out the prize trio with 10 points, 4 points ahead of its nearest pursuer "Migration".
In the next 7th round, "Kopetdag" and "Denizchi" will play each other. This will be the second game between these teams in the current Super League. The first round match ended with a 4-1 victory for "Denizchi".
In the other matches of the 7th round, "Migration" will face TCOR, and "Senagatbank" will meet "Turan".
