Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the Caspian Scientific and Educational Congress

The Caspian Scientific and Educational Congress, held in the Astrakhan region from May 29 to 31, became a platform for a multilateral dialogue on issues in the fields of science, technology, education and culture, as well as the training of specialists in various sectors of the economies of the Caspian countries.

The event was attended by official delegations from the "Caspian Five" countries, higher educational institutions, leading scientific institutions and public organizations.

The delegation of the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan presented at the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Solutions to Water Transport Problems," which took place within the framework of the congress.

Representatives of the Turkmen university shared their developments and achievements in the field of digitalization of transit systems and the use of geoinformation technologies in transport infrastructure.

Particular attention was paid to the role of the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi in international transit cargo transportation from neighboring countries and the significance of the port in the formation of a multimodal transport system.

The audience was informed about the new tariff system of the port, the proposed opportunities for transporting grain crops and the prospects for development as a major transport hub in the region.

Additionally, Gadam Ilamanov, Consul of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, made a speech at the International Conference "Family as a Traditional Value of Modern Russia and the Caspian Countries," held as part of the Caspian Scientific and Educational Congress.

In his speech, the representative of Turkmenistan noted that, like other countries of the Caspian region, Turkmenistan attaches particular importance to traditional family values, the preservation and development of which can ensure a sustainable future.

We conduct large-scale programs on a permanent basis to strengthen the institution of marriage and support large families, and create conditions for the development of children. Particular attention is paid to raising children in the spirit of patriotism and respect for traditional values.

At the conclusion of the conference, there was emphasized the need to intensify scientific research and educational practices to ensure national security in the protection of traditional spiritual and moral values.
