Special session of the Mejlis took place where according to the Constitution of Turkmenistan and by the proposal of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the release and appointment of the Chairman of the Supreme Court was reviewed.

During the session, the Mejlis resolved to approve the release of Begench Chariyev from the post of the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan and to appoint Gylychmyrat Halliyev to this position.
