"Senagatbank", the leader in the national Super League, has increased the gap from "Denizchi," the reigning four-time champion of Turkmenistan in futsal, to 6 points. This situation in the tournament table emerged following the 8th round, in which "Denizchi" unexpectedly lost to "Migration" – 2:3, while "Senagatbank," thanks to goals in the 16th minute by Shamukhammet Babayev and in the 26th minute by Rakhatmyrat Nepesov, defeated the TCOR team – 2:0.
The match between the Turkmenbashy International Seaport team and "Migration" was a tough battle.
In the 4th minute, Abdulla Nursahadov put "Denizchi" ahead – 1:0. However, this result did not last long. In the 6th minute, Dayanch Garajayev equalized – 1:1. And just a minute later, Ismailmuhammet Ovekov put "Senagatbank" ahead – 2:1. In the 22nd minute, Gurbanguly Ashyrov extended the leader's advantage to 3:1. A minute later, Maksat Soltanov reduced the deficit to a minimum – 2:3. However, "Denizchi" failed to equalize in the remaining time.
Suffering their second defeat of the season, Yakub Ovezov's team provided Mergen Atayev's team with a solid lead in the race for the championship.
"Kopetdag" fully capitalized on "Denizchi's" stumble in the 8th round, reducing the gap from the second place to 5 points after a hard-fought 9:4 victory over Dashoguz's "Turan."
The Dashoguz team opened the scoring in the 8th minute with an accurate shot by Sirojiddin Jumaniyazov. However, they were unable to maintain their advantage. In the "Kopetdag" lineup, Mulkaman Annakuliev (14th, 23rd, and 39th minutes) and Gurbangylych Sakhedov (24th, 26th, and 28th) each scored a hat-trick, Allaberdi Meredov (21st and 33rd) scored a brace, and Sakhetmyrat Atdayev (30th) added one goal. For "Turan," Sapargylych Matiev (27th), Bakhtiyar Jabbarov (31st), and Azizbek Rozimov (36th) each scored once.
Thus, after eight rounds, the top three teams are as follows: "Senagatbank" with 24 points, "Denizchi" with 18 points and "Kopetdag" with 13 points.
In the 9th round, the match between the leaders – "Senagatbank" and "Kopetdag" – will be the center of attention. In other pairs, TCOR will face "Turan," and "Migration" will take on "Kopetdag."
