They also presented visual materials with information about the activities of universities in the field of energy and water conservation and popularization of careful attitude towards environmental resources among the population.

Overall, the seminar program includes more than 60 thematic presentations and reports by participants. It is expected that by drawing the attention of university representatives and stakeholders, the most important tasks in combating global climate change, energy and water conservation, waste recycling and environmentally friendly transport will be jointly and productively discussed. In addition, the organizers' efforts are also aimed at providing opportunities for international cooperation, exchange of experience and achievements in the field of sustainable development management on campus in order to increase the effectiveness of each university's participation in UI GreenMetric.

It should be noted that universities that have demonstrated high results in the UI GreenMetric-2023 ranking are presenting at the seminar.

In this edition of the ranking, published in December last year, the leader among Turkmen universities was the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, which took 432nd place, rising 205 positions compared to 2022. The S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University also distinguished itself in the ranking by indicators of its work efficiency and took 456th place. In total, 8 Turkmen universities were included in the 2023 ranking.

The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is an annual ranking that measures universities' efforts to improve environmental infrastructure and promote sustainable development in environmental protection. The ranking ranks the world's universities according to campus environmental sustainability indicators, such as conditions and infrastructure, energy, waste management, water supply, transportation and education.

UI GreenMetric is one of the flagship programs of the University of Indonesia and has been compiled by it since 2010, when the number of ranking participants was about 100 universities from 35 countries. Over 14 years, these figures have increased significantly, with 1,183 universities from 86 countries participating in the 2023 ranking.
