At the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on Friday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan instructed to ensure the participation of the National Pavilion in the China-Eurasia Expo International Exhibition, which will take place from June 26 to 30 of the current year in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China.
The presentation of the country's National Pavilion at this large-scale event, the promotion of goods and services of various industries, as well as private producers, will allow for the expansion of the presence of Turkmen export-oriented products in the Chinese market and strengthen trade, economic and business cooperation.
The China-Eurasia Expo is an important platform for promoting Chinese-Eurasian trade, economic and investment cooperation. The exhibition provides an opportunity for business representatives from China and Eurasian countries to familiarize themselves with new products and technologies, as well as find business partners. The theme of this year's exhibition is "New Opportunities on the Silk Road. New Vitality for Eurasia," emphasizing that it is intended to develop the spirit of the Silk Road, which implies peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and shared benefits.
It is expected that in 2024, the eighth China-Eurasia Expo will become an even larger and more successful event. Three main exhibition zones will be created: the investment cooperation, the international exhibition and the special industries. The exhibition will be attended by around fifty countries and regions, as well as international organizations. Twenty-seven of them will present their unique products in their own exhibition halls.
The main exhibition categories cover energy, equipment manufacturing, textiles and clothing, digital technologies, agricultural products and food, culture and tourism. During the Expo, important events such as the Opening Ceremony and the Tian-Shan Forum will be held, as well as forums on relevant areas of cooperation between China and Central Asia, thematic events, a week of Chinese and foreign culture, a series of investment attraction and trade events.
