Culture Week 2024: Day three

Events continue as part of the Culture Week, reflecting the enormous creative potential of Turkmen society and demonstrating the diversity of our people's spiritual life.

Today's creative forum began with the conference "Arkadag arşa göterdi Pyragynyň sarpasyny!" held at the Dovletmammet Azadi Library in Arkadag city.

Participants, including cultural and educational workers, librarians, poets, writers and journalists, discussed preserving spiritual heritage, promoting it globally, and organizing cultural and educational activities at the modern level.

It should be noted that a key task of the period of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state is to study, develop, and improve culture and art, strengthening humanitarian ties with people worldwide. Various creative events, international conferences, exhibitions and festivals are regularly held in the country to achieve this goal.

During the current conference, special attention was given to topics such as deepening international scientific dialogue, the ongoing fundamental transformations in the country, and the popularization of Turkmen cultural heritage as an integral part of humanity's spiritual treasury. In this context, there was an engaged exchange of views on the significance of the works of the great poet-humanist Magtymguly Fragi and translations of his works. Lines from his famous poems, illustrating their vivid imagery, ideological direction, and remarkable metaphorical nature, were recited during the forum.

Speakers emphasized that Magtymguly, who dedicated his life to serving enduring universal values, is a significant figure in the global spiritual and intellectual process. It was noted that the importance of the outstanding classic's work, which greatly influenced the development of artistic thought worldwide, transcends national borders and requires further deep and comprehensive study.

Expressing sincere gratitude to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for his constant attention to improving the fields of culture and mass media, conference participants assured that they would exert all their efforts, knowledge and abilities to honorably accomplish the set tasks.

The creative marathon of festive events was colorfully complemented by a joint performance of students of the special music and secondary specialized art schools of the country, held at the Sakhy Jepbarov Specialized School of Arts.

The united chamber orchestra performed the composition "KERWEN," dedicated to cultural heritage, which is a key factor in the further spiritual growth of Turkmen people in the new historical era.

Overall, the musical performance, which included works from the treasury of world and national classics, was characterized by an extraordinarily sensual atmosphere.

The powerful final chord of the celebration was the inspiring song "Arkadagly Gahryman Serdarymyz!" performed by all concert participants as a passionate ode to the country's independence and its happy era, which is aimed at a bright future under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Each event within the Culture Week is significant in widely showcasing the country's successes in music, song, opera, theater, cinema, fine arts and decorative arts to the world.

The festive action concluded at the capital's Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater, where the opera "Magtymguly" was performed, organically combining vivid imagery, beautiful music and costumes. The theme of honoring heritage was also reflected in the original decorations, which gave a special flavor to the opera.
