The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan has launched the recruitment of participants for the new IV season of the intellectual competition "Young Messengers of Peace," organized by the School of Young Diplomats of the university among students of 10-12 grades of the country's secondary schools.
High school students wishing to participate in the competition must send their personal information to parahatchylygynchaparlary@gmail.com by September 15, 2024.
The information should be presented in the following order: 1. Personal data (first and last name, full address of residence, school and class, home and mobile phone numbers, email address, as well as a 3x4 photo in school uniform); 2. Achievements in studies, creative work and competitions; 3. Proficiency in foreign languages; 4. Areas of interest, hobbies etc.
The selection of participants will be based on a screening test in the second decade of September, consisting of 100 written questions on subjects of the school program such as Turkmenistan's history, world history, cultural heritage, world culture, English and Russian languages. The test will also assess participants' IQ and logical thinking.
This is the fourth consecutive academic year for the competition, which is gaining popularity among Turkmenistan's schoolchildren. The new season will run throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. The grandiose career-oriented project of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the School of Young Diplomats aims to identify and attract talented, erudite young people interested in history, politics and diplomacy, who dream of building successful diplomatic career in the future.
