University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan named after Oguz Khan announced the winners of the II Integrated Olympiad “Talented descendants of Oguz Khan”, conducted by the university among students in grades 9-11 in secondary schools across the country.
Based on the results of the Olympiad, prizes were awarded to 21 schoolchildren 5 first places were won by Myakhrijemal Gundogdyeva, Aigul Atajanova, Palvan Ilmammedov - students of Ashgabat specialized boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, as well as Dovlet Annamuradov, a high school student school No. 43 of Sakarchaga etrap, Mary velayat and Shatlyk Myatkulov, student of secondary school No. 28 in Turkmenabat Lebap velayat.
4 second and 12 third places went to the most talented and capable participants of the Olympiad - schoolchildren from Ashgabat and all velayats of the country. Let us note that the ones who especially distinguished themselves in the competition were: students of the Ashgabat specialized boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, who became the owners of 3 first, all 4 second and 4 more third prizes. During the awards ceremony for the winners Olympiads were awarded medals, diplomas and valuable gifts from Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan named after Oguz Khan.
Let us remind you that the II Integrated Olympiad in Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology included 3 rounds and started in March of this year. 23 performed in the first round of the competition thousands of schoolchildren from all over the country. 800 of them continued intellectual struggle in the second round. In the Olympic final 65 of the best experts in the disciplines spoke.
Please note that all participants who passed stage I, II or III Olympiads are included in the University's Golden Fund "Talented descendants of Oguz Khan", whose members enjoy benefits when entering a university.
As part of the final stage at the university for a five-day summer school was organized for the finalists. Here intellectual and sports competitions took place, additional classes in various subjects, as well as entertaining training courses on current directions of modern science and education. Training for schoolchildren were guided by experienced teachers university The competitors were also given detailed information about design and research work, which are carried out by young scientists of the university Scientific-technological center "Oguz Khan".
Integrated Olympiad, held for the second year in a row, is one of the university’s career-oriented projects, who is actively working to attract talented youth of the country.
We would like to add that the Olympiad is being held in accordance with the plan implementation of the Concept of Improvement in Turkmenistan teaching subjects in natural and exact sciences, and also with the aim of strengthening ties between higher and secondary educational institutions of the country, stimulating interest students to study science, identify erudite, talented, active youth capable of successfully applying innovative technologies, think broadly and independently solve the assigned tasks.
