The Turkmenistan national swimming team chose the sports facilities in the Georgian coastal resort city of Batumi, located near the Black Sea for their training camp.

Under the guidance of senior coach of national team Dmitry Novikov and winter and water sports school coach Mark Pilyugin, 12 athletes are preparing here for international competitions until July 10.

According to the State Sports Committee of Turkmenistan, the women's team sent to the training camp in Georgia includes: sisters Enesh, Ejesh and Ainur Primova, Anastasia Morginshtern, Ogulmerjen Nuraeva and Ainur Merdanova. The men's team consists of: David Akopyan, Musa Zhalaev, Seyran Nurmyradov, Muhammetmyrat Gutlyev, Alan Mukhin and Gurban Hommadov.

The coaches of our national team expect that daily training sessions of Turkmen swimmers will allow them to properly prepare for international competitions.
