During the session of the Cabinet of Ministers on June 16, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, according to which 1029 Turkmen citizens will be released from further sentence on occasion of the Night of Power.

Addressing Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence Ya. Berdiyev, the Head of the State requested all leaders of all law enforcement agencies to free all pardoned persons from the prisons and arrange their return to their homes.

The President of the country addressed hyakims of velayats, etraps and cities as well as other leaders to take necessary measures for employment of pardoned persons.
