As a result of the tireless efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who successfully continues the initiatives of the Hero-Arkadag in the era of the Revival of the powerful state, a group of pilgrims from our country visited Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj on the land sacred in the Islamic world. Yesterday, the remaining members of this group returned to their homeland.
On the blessed days of Gurban Bayram, one of the main holidays of Muslims, representatives of five velayats and the capital of Turkmenistan, together with millions of pilgrims from all over the world, visited Mecca and Medina to perform rites of worship of the holy Kaabe and other traditional rituals.
...Turkmen pilgrims flew to Ashgabat International Airport on a special flight, then on modern buses headed to the Hezreti Omar mosque, which is located on the territory of the Parahat-7 residential complex. The pilgrimage of our compatriots, who paid tribute to the two shrines, is a clear confirmation of the harmonious development of our society and state. They expressed recognition of Arkadagly Hajy Serdar and Hajy Arkadag for their tireless efforts for the further prosperity of our Fatherland, strengthening peace and friendly relations between countries and peoples.
Today, every day of Turkmenistan, confidently moving towards the heights of development, along the path of happiness and progress, is filled with significant events, great labor victories and memorable moments. Relatives and friends met the pilgrims near the mosque.
As noted, our compatriots who performed the Hajj on the blessed Gurban Bayram - this wonderful holiday, personifying high morality, spiritual purity and humanity, in the holy city of Mecca, gave Gurbanlyk-sadaka in the name of increasing the international authority of the Fatherland, the noble endeavors of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hajy Arkadag , as well as Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the well-being of the country.
At sadaka, prayers were offered for the repose of the souls of the grandfather and grandmother of Arkadagly Hajy Serdar - Malikguly and Ogulnabat Berdimuhamedov. The Great Sons of our Motherland - Hajy Arkadag and Arkadagly Haji Serdar were expressed wishes for good health, long life, success in multifaceted activities aimed at the further prosperity of our independent neutral state.
All this is another expression of the continuity of eras and generations, centuries-old noble principles and exemplary traditions and customs for the whole world, created by our wise ancestors.
Religious figures and pilgrims noted the importance in educating the younger generation of preserving and continuing national traditions as an integral part of the rich historical and cultural heritage of our country. In this regard, those gathered expressed sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the attention paid at the state level to the positive solution of these problems, including providing opportunities for the Hajj.
