Firefighting sports competitions among teenagers vacationing in health camps were held in Ashgabat. The competition, organized by the Fire Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan together with other departments, brought together teams from 14 children's centres located in the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag.

Participants had to go through five stages, demonstrating their skills and proficiency in fire training.

At the first stage, the guys had to run over a wooden barrier, pick up a water hose, first connect it to a water pipe, and then disconnect it and continue the race. At the second stage, they, with balls in their hands, overcame various obstacles on a bicycle. The third stage included learning how to use a fire extinguisher. At the fourth and fifth stages, the participants had to tell the rules for fighting artificial fire extinguishing.

According to the results of the competition, the team from the «Demirýolçy» health center took first place, the second place went to participants from the «Çynar» team, and the third place went to the team from the «Şöhle» centre.

The winners and runners-up were awarded diplomas, certificates of honour, and souvenirs with valuable gifts.

The organizers of the competition noted that other entertainment events, excursions to art museums, and visits to landmarks of the capital are planned for young vacationers in Gökdere.

These events are aimed at the comprehensive and harmonious development of adolescents, providing them not only with relaxation, but also with the development of useful skills that will be useful to them in the future.
