In Dashoguz velayat, the preparation of cotton ginning enterprises of the «Daşoguzpagta» production association for the new season continues. The work has been carried out at all cotton gin plants and collection points.

If necessary, they carry out preventive repairs of technological equipment, various production facilities, and raw material warehouses. Measures are being taken to improve the quality of cleaning of raw materials supplied for processing, to prevent air and raw material pollution from soil and mineral dust, and to increase the operating efficiency of all process equipment. Comprehensive measures should ensure more efficient operation and uninterrupted operation of all specialized equipment and mechanization during the processing season.

Today, in the velayat, which is one of the largest producers of raw cotton in the country, thanks to targeted support from the state, a full production cycle has been established, starting from growing cotton, producing high-quality fiber and yarn, and ending with the production of finished textile products.

The region has a developed network of modern processing facilities, including an ultra-modern specialized enterprise for processing seed cotton with a capacity of 40 thousand tons of products per year and a cotton receiving terminal for the simultaneous storage of 10 thousand tons of raw cotton.

Several large textile production plants are also successfully operating in the velayat, capable of producing high-quality, globally competitive, environmentally friendly yarn.

The «Cheper» clothing factory of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, operating in the region, is famous for its wide range of products.
