Turkmen delegation participates in an international project "Summer Institute 2024" in Nizhny Novgorod

Delegates from Turkmenistan take part in the innovative international project “Summer Institute for Young People” teachers and researchers", which started in Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University them.

This year, the NSLU platform brought together 25 scientific teaching staff under the age of 35 from 11 countries: China, India, Argentina, Belarus, Armenia, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Representatives from our country are participating in the project Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi and the Joint Turkmen-Russian secondary school named after A.S. Pushkin.

The official start of the project was given by the Deputy Minister of Science and higher education of the Russian Federation Dmitry Afanasyev, who outlined the importance of creating conditions for professional growth of young scientists and expressed confidence is that on the site of the Summer Institute, participants will not be able to not only deepen your knowledge, but also find new colleagues, like-minded people.

As the rector of NSLU named after N. Dobrolyubova noted in her address to the participants Doctor of Philology, Professor Zhanna Nikonova, this is not the first time the university has opened its hospitable doors for the international team of Summer Institute. 11 countries of the world and 24 organizations - unconditional pride and an absolute record for the current season. The rector of the university emphasized that without a doubt, the Summer Institute 2024 will serve good the goals of jointly building a multifaceted, safe, dynamic and advanced world and will further enhance the potential strong cross-cultural academic family that looks to one direction.

The project includes training as part of an introductory educational module “Information Society and social communications", program "Nizhny Novgorod - scientific space 4.0", a line of internship events with conducting intercultural scientific and communication practices in three partner organizations - Innopolis University, National Research Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev and Volga State Technological University (Volgatekh).

A cultural and leisure program has been prepared for guests “Art Science-immersion: cultural, innovative, educational landscape of regional capitals of Russia", in which will include tours of the cities of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Tatarstan, Mordovia and the Republic of Mari El. Their goal is co-study of ethnocultural traditions and scientific and educational potential of Russian regions.

The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Autonomous Scientific Institution "Center sociological research" (FGNU "Sociocenter").
