These days, the Organizing Committee continues its active work to prepare and conduct the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan at a high level.

The Organizing Committee began its work in accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty, which by its Resolution determined the date and place of the next meeting. The Halk Maslahaty will be held on September 24 this year in the capital's "Maslahat köşgi" palace. The starting point of the issues to be discussed by the delegates were the topics addressed at the Presidium meeting of the Halk Maslahaty held in February this year under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

At that time, the main subject of consideration was the tasks for the implementation of the "Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments in 2024." It was noted that the Program for 2024 is based on the achievements of the government in previous years. During this time, a well-thought-out practice of organizing, managing and maintaining the economy has been established. The main tasks of the Program are economic, industrial and production goals; goals in the field of trade and services development; social orientation goals; general measures for all sectors – the introduction of advanced technologies, a digital system, the creation of a favorable business environment, and the development of the non-state sector.

The Hero-Arkadag also pointed out the importance of analyzing legislation in areas such as: improvement of legislation, provision of public services through a digital system, stimulation of agricultural producers, social protection of the population, and regional development.

On July 26, during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the Chairwoman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova informed the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov about the implementation of measures to prepare for the session of the Halk Maslahaty.

According to the speaker of the national parliament, key points of the upcoming event were discussed at the meeting of the Organizing Committee. D. Gulmanova noted that active legislative work is being carried out in various areas of the country's life. Currently, in cooperation with ministries and sectoral departments, an analysis of existing legal acts and the development of new bills are being carried out to ensure the necessary legal regulation.

Having heard this information, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to develop new bills that meet current needs and called for continued active work to improve the country's legislative framework.

The main goal of the Organizing Committee in preparing for the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty is to ensure broad participation of representatives of the people in solving key issues of state and public life, strengthening the unity and cohesion of society, and further developing national democracy.
