Last month, 4th year students of the Faculty of Medicine State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev held a two-week practical training in general medicine at clinical bases of the Astrakhan State Medical university.
Industrial practice of students is organized within the framework Memorandum of mutual cooperation in the field of medical science and education between the Astrakhan State Medical University and State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev.
Students of a Turkmen university visited the Ophthalmological Center and the Federal Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, as well as got acquainted with the work of the departments of therapy, cardiology, medical rehabilitation in a private institution healthcare “Medical and sanitary unit”.
As part of summer practical training for students from Turkmenistan, various introductory, training events that greatly contributed to consolidation of theoretical knowledge, acquisition of practical experience and skills of independent work, expansion and development professional competencies of future doctors.
