Magtumguly Turkmen State University hosted the presentation of new book dedicated to the 60th anniversary of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and published in Turkmen, Russian and English languages.
The publishing presents journalistic narration about the most important events and significant facts in the life of the country. The book analyses the root causes and consequences of the most important government decisions, which effected the country, reveals huge role of the Head of the State elected by the nation in fulfilment of colossal changes in all spheres of Turkmen society.
The presentation was forestalled by the exhibition expanded in the foyer of the university presenting art works and items of decorative and applied art as well as printing productions.
After the session with participation of the members of the Government, Chairperson and deputies of National Parliament, heads and representatives of military and law enforcement agencies, diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, ministries and departments, non-government organizations, directors, professors and lecturers of the universities, political scientists, honoured elders and youth, mass media was held in the conference hall.
The speakers including famous Turkmen scientists and teachers, authors and public figures, political scientists and journalists noted that the main character feature of modern Turkmen society is its unbreakable unity, consolidation of people around their national leader, which is based on deliberate common understanding of the ideas of the independence and neutrality, spiritual traditions and cultural heritage.
Not only large social and political significance but also educational and patriotic message of the book was highlighted in this aspect. Together with rapid development and fundamental modernization of the basic branches and structures of the state activity and changing of entire image of Turkmen land, the most important achievements of this period lay in social sphere, - the speakers said. These achievements are in quality improvement of the life level of Turkmen people, growth of its prosperity, consolidation of legal guarantees, moral and artistic activation of people, release of creative energy for achievement of high targets.
Bold by the intention and scale but well-thought and prescient initiatives with precise aiming initiatives of Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave start to conceptually new projects and directions of country’s development oriented on the most advanced international practices and integration of Turkmenistan into the world political and economic space as deserving and serious partners, which is able to influence global geopolitical processes.
