The names of the winners of the Youth and Peace contest, which was launched in honor of World Youth Day with the support of the Government of Japan, have been announced. In total, about 30 works were submitted to the contest, which were distinguished by their creativity and mastery of execution.
In the category from 14 to 18 years old, the winner was Arslan Ishmetov from Turkmenbashy, second place went to Lachyn Atayeva (Ashgabat), and third place was taken by Medine Myratberdiyeva (Ashgabat).
In the 18 to 24 age category, the places were distributed as follows: First place – Selbi Ashyrberdiyeva (Ashgabat); Second place – Aysapar Gurbanova (Ahal velayat); Third place – Islam Saryjayev (Ashgabat).
In the 24 to 35 age category: First place – Bagdagul Temimova (Ashgabat); Second place – Umar Orazbayev (Dashoguz velayat); Third place – Vyacheslav Saharov (Ashgabat).
The works were assessed based on creativity, originality, composition and design, as well as technical execution. The award ceremony for the winners will be held on the 23rd August at the UN Office in Ashgabat.
