A meeting of writers, poets, linguists, journalists, actors, university students and library staff was held in the conference hall of the State Museum of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan.

Representatives of the «Milli goşun» magazine, the Turkmen State School of Culture and Art, the Institute of Language named after Magtymguly, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the Aman Gulmammedov Drama Theatre of Arkadag and employees of the State Museum took part in the meeting.

The guests speaking from the podium noted the meaningfulness of the multifaceted heritage of the great master of words Magtymguly Fragi. His works, imbued with humanism, honesty, selfless service to his native land and people, have not lost their relevance for all of humanity. The poetry of Magtymguly Fragi is of great importance for the patriotic education of the younger generation and the preparation of harmoniously developed individuals.

During the meeting, the participants watched a video dedicated to the work of Magtymguly Fragi, which gave this event a unique poetic colouring.

Pride in our national poets, whose work has entered classical literature, inspires us to study the heritage of the past, in which the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi is the most valuable treasure.
