As part of the Cooperation Program of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Singapore, O. Berdiyev, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Education of Turkmenistan, took part in an international seminar on the educational program «Transformation of Education for the Development of Educational Policy: the Experience of Singapore».

The forum discussed topics devoted to an overview of modern trends in education, an integrated approach to the education management system of Singapore, innovation policies and reforms aimed at improving the quality of teaching and leadership in the Singapore school. During the event, various seminars were organized to exchange experiences, visits to educational institutions and work in groups.

Detailed presentations by experts and many productive discussions took place. The international seminar expanded the participants' knowledge of the peculiarities of the Singapore educational system and the possibilities of cooperation in the field of education. At the end of the seminar, the participants were awarded international certificates.

The intensification of joint activities in the scientific and educational sphere, culture and art was one of the topics of negotiations during the state visit to the Republic of Singapore of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in August 2019. As noted, the educational opportunities that Singapore has today are of great interest to Turkmenistan, primarily taking into account the development of high-tech sectors of the economy of our country, the creation of digital clusters, and the introduction of advanced technologies.
