Into the new season with new works

The Dashoguz State Music and Drama Theater named after Nurmuhammet Andalib opened its new theater season with a colorful theatrical musical and song performance based on the works of Magtymguly Fragi.

Thus, the team of one of the well-known regional theaters expressed its desire to actively participate in the wide celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and classic poet of the East, Magtymguly Fragi, in the year declared in the country as the year of "Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi." The production, based on the script by playwright O. Ovezov, was staged by theater director B. Hallyev.

The new work of the theater covers the period in the life of the great thinker and poet when he returns to his homeland after studying in Khiva. Fellow countrymen eagerly await Magtymguly, recalling lines from his poems and singing songs based on them. As events unfold, the main theme of this production becomes the theme of the Homeland, inherent in Magtymguly's work, his vision of a strong and united Turkmen state, and the call for unity and service to the ideals of goodness and justice.

The image of Magtymguly in the new work was recreated by two talented actors, H. Mukhadov and D. Bayarov; the role of Mengli was played by N. Hydyrova, and the role of Mergen-hoja by T. Garlyev. Many other theater artists were involved in the production, including Honored Artists of Turkmenistan H. Shikhyev and M. Seitov.

It should be reminded that the theater team is preparing to present another new work dedicated to the creativity of Magtymguly Fragi in the new season - the play "Şygyr diwany" based on the work of Hemra Shirov.

The theater team enters the new season with a bright and rich repertoire. The audience can expect several premieres, including those prepared for the youngest viewers. The creative team intends to continue paying great attention to the relevance of its productions, their ability to form an active life position and a sense of patriotism in the audience.
