Representatives of Turkmenistan visited Almaty to participate in regional conference

From September 10 to 12, representatives of the fields of education, energy and environmental protection of Turkmenistan visited Almaty (Kazakhstan) to participate in the regional conference “Forming future: C5+ONE Central Asia – USA.”

Delegations from all countries took part in the event Central Asian region for the purpose of joint discussion topics related to energy, environmental sustainability, and also learning English.

During the conference, speeches were made by Turkmen delegates, including representatives of universities playing key role in training specialists in the field of energy and ecology. Thus, innovative ideas were presented in the format of poster sessions meeting participants, teachers of the International University oil and gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakaev and Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov. Their presentations covered renewable topics energy, recycling, eco-fashion and emissions reduction methane

Seminars led by experts from the USA and university teachers, specializing in energy and security issues environment. Participants had the opportunity to purchase useful knowledge about modern trends, the latest technologies in these areas, and also significantly expanded their English language skills, widely used in professional environment.

The event became an important platform for the exchange of experience between scientists, teachers and young professionals and has greatly contributed to the development of new strategies for sustainable development of the region.

Let us add that C5+ONE is a unique regional initiative aimed at developing English language skills among entry-level and mid-level professionals in Central Asia, mainly specialists engaged in the field of energy and environmental protection. Program allows representatives of the public sector, civil society and private companies to improve their ownership skills English with an emphasis on practical oral communication.

Over 1000 specialists have already been trained under this program from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, thanks to which their interaction with American colleagues. Specialized professional English courses for representatives of the energy and environmental protection sectors develop and improve listening and speaking skills, reading and writing.

Turkmenistan’s participation in the C5+ONE program clearly reflects our country's desire for sustainable development and international cooperation. Investing in a professional growth of young scientists, specialists, Turkmenistan is forming a reliable foundation for the future, in which tasks in key sectors of the national economy will be skillfully and efficiently solved by competent, highly qualified, masters of all necessary, professional and language competencies frames.
