Students of Turkmenistan and abroad are invited to participate in International competition of scientific projects the Turkmen Agricultural Institute will hold an International competition of scientific projects “Agroinnovations: the path to sustainable development” among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and abroad.
All interested students are invited to participate in the competition, depending on their specialization and year of study at universities. Official the languages of the competition are Turkmen, English and Russian.
The competition is aimed at promoting sustainable development agriculture and rational use of water resources in within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN.
The purpose of the competition is to identify and encourage talented, capable, widely thinking youth, development of scientific and creative thinking, students' research skills, their stimulation to independent solution of important agricultural problems, arising from the UN SDGs. In addition, deepening students' understanding the role of agriculture in achieving the SDGs, modern scientific approaches and the importance of their application in practice are also among the main objectives of the event.
The competition will be held in 3 areas: Agricultural projects; IT projects; Business projects.
The competition includes two stages, during which participants will present scientific projects in the form of a report and presentation. At stage I, students or a team of students consisting of no more than two participants must submit a report on the research project by October 1 work on 1 of 3 areas of the competition to the organizing committee by email (tohi.tm.info@gmail.com).
Based on the results of the analysis of the works by the panel of judges, the list of students, passed the II stage will be published on October 10 on the website Institute tohi.edu.tm.
In the II stage of the competition, which will take place on October 16-17 online, Participants will have to make presentations of their scientific projects.
Relevance, novelty, content, mass appeal, replicability, environmental impact - the main criteria by which work students will be assessed by the Central Organizational Working group. It will include representatives of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, professors, scientific employees of the country and abroad.
I, II and III places in each of the three areas of the competition will be determined by based on the sum of points scored for all assessment indicators. Winners competition will be awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees.
