On September 28, 2024, as part of the celebrations organized on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the country's independence, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the head of Strategic partnership development in Central Asia of the John Deere company Csaba Lejko.

The guest thanked the head of state for the meeting and expressed congratulations on the Independence Day of Turkmenistan.

Csaba Lejko proudly emphasized that the company he represents has been cooperating with Turkmenistan for 30 years, and expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for creating the appropriate legislative framework and opportunities for the effective operation of foreign companies in the country.

Thanking for the congratulations and kind words, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that he was glad to see the guest on the ancient and hospitable Turkmen land during the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

During the meeting, the prospects for further cooperation were discussed. The number of agricultural machinery in the country is increasing from year to year, which indicates the successful development of bilateral cooperation. In addition, program work is being carried out with the John Deere company to improve the professional level of agricultural workers.

Speaking about the feasibility of intensifying cooperation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of broad support for scientifically based approaches to agricultural projects being implemented in the country, the introduction of innovative technologies and solutions with high economic efficiency.

Mr. Csaba Lejko expressed his sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the high trust shown and assured that he would make every effort to further develop long-term cooperation and successfully complete the tasks set.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged good wishes, expressing confidence in the further strengthening of fruitful cooperation.
