On October 10, in Ashgabat, during the International Scientific Conference and Exhibition "Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State," a ceremony was held to sign bilateral documents in the fields of science and education between Turkmenistan and several foreign countries—Romania, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Belarus, and the Russian Federation.
The following six documents were signed during the ceremony:
1. A Memorandum of Understanding between the International University for the Humanities and Development and "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia was signed by Maral Kulieva, Rector of IUHD, and Valer-Daniel Breaz, Rector of "1 December 1918" University of Alba Iulia (Romania).
2. Memorandum of Understanding between the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan and Sungkyunkwan University was signed by Gurbanmyrat Mezilov, Rector of the Turkmen university, and Hanjung Lee, Vice President of Sungkyunkwan University (Republic of Korea).
3. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seydi and Gomel State University named after Francisk Skorina (Republic of Belarus) was signed by Gurbangeldi Mukhammedov, Rector of the Turkmen university, and Dmitry Kovalenko, Vice-Rector of the Belarusian university.
4. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi and Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (Russian Federation) was signed by Maksat Charyev, Rector of the Turkmen university, and Alfinur Galiakberova, Rector of the Russian university.
5. Agreement on Cooperation between the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan and Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University was signed by Bayram Byashimov, Director of the institute, and Alfinur Galiakberova, Rector of the university.
6. Agreement on Cooperation between the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration was signed by Kakageldi Hummaev, Vice-Rector of the Turkmen Academy, and Andrey Margolin, Vice-Rector of RANEPA.
The signing of these bilateral documents marks another important step in developing and strengthening international cooperation in science, education, research and innovation. It also represents a new stage in large-scale activities aimed at achieving strategic goals in our country for training high-level specialists, improving the national education system, and bringing it to the level of world standards.
