Turkmen and Japanese customs officers shared experience in the field of risk management

Employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan attended in an online seminar with representatives of Customs and Tariff Department of the Ministry of Economy of Japan.

The objective of the seminar is to learn Japanese experience of ensuring the effectiveness of the customs control system and risk management at the checkpoints. 

Delegates of the Customs and Tariff Department of the Ministry of Economy of Japan Kazumo Matsumoto and Taiki Natsumi, acquainted with customs administration, the core missions of Japanese customs, and actions take to facilitate trade procedures in the Land of Rising Sun.

Especially they use “NACCS3” system (Japanese Automated Customs Clearance System) for making a customs clearance.

The system implemented in 1978 and plays an important role in achieving minimum customs clearance deadlines.

For export and import operations in 2003, the Japanese government injected a single window system. Also Japanese experts shared their experience in organizing effective risk management at all levels of the customs service.
