A talent contest titled "Milli ykdysadyýetimiziň häzirki zaman özgertmeleri" was held in the "Gul Zaman" banquet hall in honor of the 31st anniversary of the introduction of Turkmenistan's national currency, the manat, and the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet Magtymguly Fragi.
The event gathered representatives of banking system of Turkmenistan and served as both a celebration and a demonstration of the participants' professionalism and deep knowledge, as well as their commitment to developing the national economy.
The contest aimed to honor Turkmenistan's historical dates and achievements, reflect on reforms, and enhance the professional level of banking sector employees. The esteemed President's policy focused on comprehensive national economic development formed the basis for implementing large-scale economic transformations, with the contest contributing to the growth of qualifications and intellectual potential among banking system employees.
The contest was conducted in two stages: the first stage involved bank employees from all regions of Turkmenistan, including Arkadag city, while the second stage featured employees from central offices of banks in Ashgabat. To ensure objective evaluation, the jury included experienced specialists, representatives of state commercial banks, and the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, possessing deep knowledge in economics, finance and banking.
Participants were presented with questions related to current reforms in the national economy, application of regulatory legislation, and new achievements in banking. Those who achieved the best results and demonstrated an understanding of economic development goals were awarded.
Among employees from the velayats and Arkadag city:
- 1st place: Ak-Bugday etrap branch team of "Halkbank."
- 2nd place: Central Bank of Arkadag city.
- 3rd place: Balkan velayat branch of "Senagat" bank.
Among employees of central banks in Ashgabat:
- 1st place: Turkmen-Turkish Joint Stock Commercial Bank.
- 2nd place: State Commercial Bank "Turkmenistan."
- 3rd place: Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Winners received honorary certificates and individual prizes. The first-place team was awarded a certificate, high-quality fabrics from Ashgabat factory, and wristwatches featuring Magtymguly Fragi, this year's symbol. Second and third-place winners also received honorary certificates and valuable gifts. The contest host and jury members were given commemorative prizes, highlighting their contribution to the event's success.
The contest became an important event uniting representatives of Turkmenistan's banking system and contributed to strengthening their professional skills amid large-scale economic reforms.
