The 17th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference of Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technology and Broadcasting Equipment "Türkmentel – 2024" opened today in Ashgabat.
Following a well-established tradition, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants and guests of the forum with congratulations, which were read at the opening ceremony. Emphasizing the importance of the international conference and exhibition, he noted that "...the forum is of great significance for implementing projects in advanced technologies and innovative developments in the country."
Turkmenistan is modernizing its national economy by relying on global practices in high technology and innovation, achieving significant success in the comprehensive development of the country. By improving the structure of digital technologies and updating its material-technical and legal base to meet modern requirements, Turkmenistan is conducting fundamental scientific and technical reforms and implementing major projects.
Among dozens of foreign companies gathered in Ashgabat, SpaceX was represented at the forum for the first time by Elena Pysher.
Elena Pysher said "Although this is our first time participating in such a prestigious forum in Turkmenistan, we are not new to collaborating with colleagues from Turkmenistan. As is known, specialists from our company previously participated in developing and launching Turkmenistan's first communication satellite 'Turkmen Alem 52E,' which was launched from Cape Canaveral. Our company has been launching rockets for many years and providing other services."
She expressed her positive impressions of the exhibition, noting that it was organized at a high level, for which she thanked the organizers. She also shared favorable impressions of Ashgabat, although she had not yet had time to see everything.
When asked about her proficiency in Russian, Elena Pysher explained that she is originally from St. Petersburg and is now one of the key employees of the company.
The "Türkmentel – 2024" exhibition continues its work.
