Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev and khyakims of the velayats to discuss the dynamics of seasonal work in the regions, issues of developing the country’s agriculture and implementing the National Rural Program.

The first to speak was the khyakim of Akhal velayat S. Soltanmyradov, who reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As reported, these days, the organized collection of cotton grown by the region’s farmers continues down to the last ball. In this work, special attention is paid to the efficient use of agricultural machinery, ensuring the uninterrupted transportation of raw cotton to receiving points and cotton ginning enterprises.

In order to successfully fulfill the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to strengthen food abundance in the country, wheat crops are being cared for in the fields of the velayat in accordance with agro-technical standards.

Along with this, in order to obtain a rich cotton harvest next year, plowing of lands is carried out on a programmatic basis.

The head of the regional administration reported on the measures taken to maintain the proper functioning of heating systems at enterprises, departments, general education and preschool institutions, housing and social facilities.

Information was also provided on the pace of construction of social and industrial infrastructure facilities in accordance with the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the khyakim to provide everything necessary for harvesting cotton without losses and proper care of wheat crops in accordance with agro-technical requirements.

The head of state also ordered to monitor the issues of compliance with the quality and timing of construction of various facilities in accordance with the National Rural Program, the opening of which is scheduled for this year.

Then the floor was given to the khyakim of Balkan velayat H. Ashyrmyradov. It was reported that proper measures were being taken to collect cotton down to the last ball and transport it uninterruptedly to receiving points and cleaning plants.

In order to obtain a rich wheat harvest, seedlings are watered and fertilized with minerals in accordance with agricultural technology standards.

Along with this, fields are being ploughed as part of preparing them for the future cotton harvest.

The region is taking the necessary steps to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in educational and cultural institutions, public institutions and residential buildings.

In addition, it was reported on the dynamics of the construction of social and industrial facilities in accordance with the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028, scheduled for commissioning this year.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of conducting seasonal agricultural work in accordance with agricultural standards and at a high level, giving specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

The head of state also ordered to keep under strict control the quality and timing of construction of various facilities in accordance with the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year in the region.

The working meeting continued with a report by the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev on the pace of seasonal work in the agricultural sector.

As reported, the region is rapidly collecting cotton to the last ball, everything necessary is being done to use combines and other agricultural machinery at full capacity, as well as for the uninterrupted delivery of collected raw materials to receiving points.

In the velayat, maintenance work is being carried out on areas sown with wheat in accordance with agricultural standards. Also, the region continues to plow fields cleared of cotton for next year’s harvest.

Along with this, corresponding work is being carried out to harvest the rice crop grown in the region without losses.

In accordance with the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, measures are being taken to properly operate the heating systems of social and cultural buildings and residential buildings in the velayat.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the progress of construction of various facilities in accordance with the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, which are scheduled for commissioning this year.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of harvesting cotton without losses, ensuring the smooth operation of all units involved in the harvesting campaign, as well as proper care of the wheat fields, addressing specific instructions to the khyakim.

At the same time, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to ensure proper control over the construction of social and industrial facilities scheduled for opening in the velayat this year, in accordance with the state development programs of the country.

Then, the khyakim of Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As reported, the necessary measures are being taken to harvest cotton without losses, ensure the smooth transportation of the harvested crop to collection points and its proper storage.

Vegetative irrigation and fertilization of wheat seedlings with minerals are being carried out. In this regard, special attention is paid to the effective use of agricultural machinery.

In order to lay the foundations for the cotton harvest next year, plowing of the vacated fields continues.

In addition, the harvesting of the grown rice is currently at the final stage.

The necessary work is being carried out to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in departments and enterprises, in cultural and educational and residential buildings in the velayat.

At the same time, the khyakim reported on the progress of construction of social and production facilities in accordance with the National Rural Program, which are planned to be commissioned this year.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov identified the loss-free cotton harvest as one of the current priorities, as well as proper care of wheat, addressing specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

The head of state ordered to keep under constant control the quality and timing of the work planned for the current year in the region within the framework of the National Rural Program. Further, the khyakim of Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As reported, the necessary measures are being taken to collect cotton without losses, ensure uninterrupted transportation of the crop to receiving points and cotton ginning plants, as well as for the effective operation of combines and other equipment used during the harvesting period.

Vegetation irrigation and mineral fertilization are carried out on the wheat fields of the velayat.

In addition, appropriate work is being carried out to prepare the fields for sowing cotton for next year’s harvest, in particular, plowing and enriching the soil with mineral fertilizers is carried out.

Along with this, everything necessary is being done for the organized collection of sugar beets and uninterrupted transportation of the crop to receiving points.

At the same time, steps are being taken in the velayat to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in administrative and public institutions, educational and cultural buildings, and residential buildings.

The khyakim reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.

Summarizing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of harvesting cotton grown by the hard work of farmers, down to the last ball, as well as caring for wheat fields in accordance with agricultural standards, giving the khyakim a number of specific instructions.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev reported on the dynamics of seasonal agricultural work in the country.

It was reported that the necessary measures are being taken in the velayats to collect cotton to the last ball, uninterrupted delivery of the harvest without losses to receiving points and cotton gins for processing.

In the country’s fields sown with wheat, appropriate care measures are being taken, in particular, vegetation irrigation and feeding with mineral fertilizers.

At the same time, in order to lay the foundation for the cotton harvest of the next year, plowing of lands with the effective use of agricultural machinery continues.

In Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, rice harvesting is in full swing, in Mary velayat – sugar beet.

After hearing the report, the head of state focused on the importance of the tasks currently facing the agricultural sector, and in this regard, instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure compliance with quality and agro-technical standards during seasonal agricultural work.

Further, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to keep under strict control the work carried out in the velayats this year to collect the cotton harvest to the last ball, noting the importance of the effective operation of combines and other equipment, raw material collection points and cotton gins.

The head of state instructed to pay special attention to the work to obtain good wheat shoots and, in this regard, to exercise strict control over field care activities, timely weed control, the first watering of wheat shoots, and feeding with mineral fertilizers. All this must be done in accordance with agro-technical standards. In addition, instructions were given to keep in the spotlight issues related to plowing land in accordance with the established requirements for the next year’s cotton harvest, timely payments to producers and service institutions for the work performed to harvest this year’s cotton crop and next year’s wheat harvest.

The head of state also gave instructions related to the loss-free harvesting of rice in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats and sugar beets in Mary velayat, the proper operation of heating systems in educational and cultural institutions, public organizations, administrative buildings and residential buildings.

The President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of fulfilling the tasks outlined in the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, instructing to carry out appropriate measures for the high-quality and timely implementation of the planned work in the regions this year.

At the end of the working meeting, the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health, family well-being and great success in their work.
