The Ministry of Health Care and Medical Industry host the presentation of the 9th volume of scientific work by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Medicinal Herbs of Turkmenistan”.
Brightly illustrated scientific and educational issue is addressed to wide auditorium and were an excellent present to new academic year 2017 – 2018.
Specialists of health care system, scientists, teachers and students, representatives of non-governmental organizations and mass media took part in the ceremony.
New volume describes medicinal properties of 109 species of Turkmen flora. The first chapter introduce with the area of their growing, appearance, vegetation conditions, biological peculiarities, chemical composition, natural resources of the species and the methods of application.
Two other chapters describe their pharmacological features and contain recommendations for their use. Same like other volumes of the encyclopaedia, it has Russian – Latin – Turkmen vocabulary of plants names and information about the best time of picking, conditions and period of storage.
